Well it’s about time. I was wondering where Harvey had been hiding the past few months. Katie Price covers the new issue of OK Magazine with her first born son, Harvey.  The cover and layout are really cute.  I just want to pick Harvey up and hug and kiss him to death. 

Katie speaks about dealing with Harvey’s autism and other health issues and also how he is getting along with his brother and sister. 

Katie on Harvey and Junior:
“He plays with Junior nicely but occasionally he will wak past him and give him a sly little slap”.

Katie says “she is thrilled with harvey’s progress, including the fact that he can now read the top line of the eye test chart, and she’s able to hold a conversation with him”.

 Katie and Peter seem like they are doing the best they can for their entire family and we wish them nothing but the best.

Jordan did it again, Halloween style!  Katie Price and her pop star husband, Peter Andre cover the latest issue of OK Magazine in full Halloween costume.  The layout is fabulous and once again shows off her good sense of humor and why we love her so much. The layout also incldues rare photos of their baby daughter, Princess Tiamii and Junior.  However, Harvey is noticeably missing from the photos.

I guess you could say Katie is really having it all right now with family and her career.  Enjoy the photos!

Everything Katie Price (aka Jordan) puts her name to, be it a book or a bra, is an instant bestseller. And the glamour model turned mega-brand certainly has no qualms about cashing in on her popularity. But isn’t world domination a step too far, asks Marianne Macdonald?

It is not a great day to interview the glamour model Jordan, who now prefers to use her real name, Katie Price.

Her three children are all sick. She has been up ten times in the night with her youngest, Princess, and now seems to have caught her cold and a sore throat that makes her sound hoarse.

She arrives at our South London photo shoot mob-handed, with hairdresser, make-up man, manager and the film crew that is following her round for her new chat show.

They all head upstairs, with Princess wheezing piteously.

Katie is wearing pistachio-green tracksuit bottoms, Ugg boots and a cream jumper cut high over her cleavage, her ash-blond hair in a ponytail. Her figure is surprisingly tiny.

She tells me when pressed that Princess has been ill for four days – her gaze is polite but uninterested.

“It’s amazing,” coos the hairdresser, dandling Princess.

“She wriggles with me and she wriggles with Peter, but with you she’s totally still.”

“She’s a mummy’s girl,” Katie agrees.

She drifts back upstairs to have her make-up done while her manager, Claire, chats to us about Katie’s business deals.

Most people know the facts of her life (many of them have been caught on camera) – that she was a glamour model, that she used to fall drunk out of nightclubs, that she went out with the singers Dane Bowers and Gareth Gates, and the footballer Dwight Yorke. She was treated badly in a lot of her relationships.

The worst time, though, was when she got pregnant by Yorke and he refused to have anything to do with the baby.

Her discovery that their son, Harvey (now five), was autistic, had septo-optic dysplasia, and would be blind – and her total lack of self-pity about it – generated huge sympathy and admiration.

Katie went on to fall in love with pop singer Peter Andre in 2004’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, and their married life in a sprawling house in Dorking, Surrey, with Harvey and their own two children, Junior, two, and Princess, four months, has been documented ever since in yet more reality TV shows.

What is less well publicised is that she has made £30 million in the same space of time, and last year beat J K Rowling and the Body Shop founder, the late Anita Roddick, to be named Britain’s most inspirational businesswoman.

She has done this through photographs and personal appearances (£25,000 a go) and the shrewd endorsement of a staggering variety of products: a perfume (Stunning), two ghost-written novels (Angel and Crystal), a series of children’s books (Perfect Ponies), two autobiographies, a work-out DVD, computer mouse mats and even ironing-board covers (the bikini on the cover disappears “as she gets hot”).

She does calendars, a jewellery line at Argos, a lingerie and swimwear line at Asda, is moving into America and China, and there are plans for clothing, music, bed linen, hair products, another perfume, a skincare range and a film.

Claire and her associates have regular brainstorming sessions with Katie to find out what she wants to do, then find partners for her to do it with.

She jibbed, though, at her latest venture, the ITV2 chat show Katie and Peter: Unleashed. “She said, ‘I can’t do that,’” Claire admits.

“But we stretch her. We say, ‘You can’.”

Everything she touches seems to turn to gold – her perfume was a bestseller, as were her autobiographies.

In September the literary world was shocked to learn that her second novel, Crystal, in which the eponymous heroine battles bad boyfriends to win fame in a girl band, had outsold the entire Booker Prize short list.

“Yeah,” Katie says, closing her eyes so the make-up man can fix on false eyelashes.

“Anything I do, people don’t have faith in me to begin with.

“I always have to prove that I will put in the time and effort. I had that when I did my underwear with Asda. To start with, they said, ‘We couldn’t have someone like that here’.

“Now they want to do a lot more because it’s successful.”

Does she mind that people have that attitude towards her?

“Not at all. It just drives me more.”

So what’s that all about?

“Ambition.”

To achieve what?

“Conquer the world,” she says.

I laugh, and Katie’s eyes, now fringed like a shawl, fly open.

“I love it when people laugh, like your reaction,” she says.

But what does that mean?

“Conquer the world! Like I say, conquer the world. Just get known in as many places as I can for my products.”

When CAN Associates took over Katie’s management four years ago, they advised her to phase out her Jordan persona – the perma-tan and heavy make-up – because to have career longevity she had to appeal to a fan base of women, not men.

In fact, Claire, who advised this, is now wedged next to me in the two square metres of space we have, as the make-up artist, Gary, moves between me and Katie as he layers foundation on to Katie’s face.

Katie once said that she was on her way to becoming a billionaire. I believe her.

She is here doing a photo shoot when she is ill, which says a great deal for her professionalism, even if her refusal to give answers of more than one sentence makes it an uphill struggle to interview her.

“I’m not chatty today!” she acknowledges, adding, when I ask her what she was like as a child: “If there was something I wanted, I made sure I got it in the end.

“I’ve always been determined. But my whole family’s like that.”

Her family is from Brighton. Her father, Ray, a furniture dealer, split up with her mother, Amy, when she was three. Soon after, her stepfather, Paul Price – who runs his own company, PP Fencing – moved in.

At seven she was molested by a passer-by in a park.

“But it hasn’t affected me,” she says, looking me in the eye.

“I had a perfect upbringing; all the love, everything, so it’s fine.”

Did she always want to be a model?

“Model or pop star. And I’ve got both.”

She was posing in her underwear for catalogues at 13 (her first photographer turned out to be a paedophile) and at 16 had a much older, violent boyfriend.

At 18 she got her break as a Page Three girl.

A year later she had her famous boob job. Peter has said he would prefer her natural shape, but she has no intention of going back to that.

“I don’t like natural,” she says. “Doesn’t matter what he prefers. If he wanted natural, he shouldn’t have married me.”

I ask how she looks back on that time they fell in love in the jungle.

“I don’t really think about it,” is her brisk reply.

Did she know straight away when she met him?

“You obviously haven’t read my book have you?” she asks (referring to her autobiography, Being Jordan).

“The answers are in there.”

She looks at me coolly.

“No disrespect, but when people come on the chat show I read a bit about them.”

I could tell her that, having watched her reality TV shows and read maybe 50 of her interviews, I feel I know more about her than my closest friends.

Claire says pacifically: “In her book it says that she asked Pete to marry her.”

I knew that, I say.

“Eight days later,” Katie agrees.

She must have been very sure, I say.

“I was sure,” she agrees.

The billion-dollar question is what precisely she offers that the nation loves so much.

She has no religion, not a clue who David Cameron is, and her only observation on the prime minister is that he has a “funny mouth”.

Perhaps the appeal is the surreal collision between the shy, damaged little girl, the brave single mother and the steely, ambitious glamour model who doesn’t give a damn what anyone thinks.

“I don’t know the answer,” Katie says. “Well, some people let success go to their heads and it ruins them. I don’t know, probably because I am real.”

The make-up done, she hates it; she also hates the 40s-style clothes she is put in for the photo shoot.

Still, to her credit, she goes along with them.

As the afternoon wears on she cheers up and at one point scuttles downstairs in just a jumper and skimpy knickers, bounds on to the sofa, and cries: “Look! This is the way you should photograph me!”

Meanwhile Peter Andre, who has turned up with his own, far smaller, entourage, has taken possession of Princess. Clearly besotted with his daughter he barely raises his head from her long-lashed blue eyes the whole afternoon.

Katie wants a lot of children.

“Six or seven,” she says.

Isn’t it a lot of work, having a huge family?

“You’ve got to have some work in your life,” she says.

“I don’t regard kids as being a chore. It’s more love.”

She is also thinking of adopting a disabled child.

“It’s not that I want a disabled child,” she explains, “it’s that I’m not frightened.”

Harvey is at school all day; her mother takes him there and picks him up.

Katie is dismissive of the remarkable way she has coped with his disability.

“You just have to deal with it,” she says matter-of-factly.

“One injection a day, medicine three times a day. It’s drummed into me.

“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with him, because he was born that way, and that’s the way he’s meant to be. He’s just unique.”

So is Katie friends with any A-list celebrities?

“No. I hate the fact that just because it’s the industry you’re in people think you must have all these celebrity mates,” she says.

“All my friends are old, like Gary who’s been doing my make-up for 12 years. Same with the hairstylist – she was a tea girl at Toni & Guy.

“I’m loyal: I keep with the same people, the same friends. Obviously I know a few – whether you’d call them A-listers or B-listers, I don’t know.”

She is friends with Simon Cowell, though, isn’t she?

“Well, I know him, but I wouldn’t say he was a friend who’d come round for dinner.”

Has she ended her long-running feud with Victoria Beckham?

“I haven’t seen Victoria for years, but I haven’t got a problem with her and David, that’s just tabloid stuff.”

So what did she think of her?

“I think she looks great in what she wears, but we’re completely different to them. Good luck to them in what they want to do.”

Katie’s resistance is now so strong that I feel she’s unlikely to get chattier.

“Hang around,” she advises, perhaps realising she is coming across as difficult.

“I’m not in the brightest spirits, but you have to work,” she adds in what is probably as near to an apology as she can get.

Clearly the Katie Price machine never stops, but then there’s a lot to get done if you want to conquer the world.

This is a clip of Katie and Peter’s appearance on the Jonathan Ross show last Friday. Jordan looked stunning and the couple wore their usual matching outfits. Katie had much to say about Victoria Beckham and very little to say about David Beckham.

This is a little of what Jordan had to say:

On Posh: “I love her boobs. I wish she would admit they are fake because they are”.

On David Beckham: “David is talented, but what does she(Posh) do”.

While it was all about Princess Tiaamii a few months ago when she frist arrived, it’s now time to shine a little spotlight on Junior Andre in the upcoming issue of OK Magazine UK with his glamour model mum, Katie Price.  Katie plays adoringly with Junior, who looks just like his handsome pop star dad, Peter Andre.

When asked who Katie thought was a bad mother, Jordan replied: “I think you never see Kate Moss much with her daughter.  Also, she allegedly took drugs so I think she seems like a bad role model as  lotsof teenagers look up to her and she’s the face of a make-up range that’s aimed at teenagers”.

On Junior she adds:  “Junior is defenitely a daddy’s boy.  But he likes it when we go shopping because he knows I’m the one who buys him lots of stuff”.

Katie says two year old Junior is a really socialble child.  “He loves playing with his cars and he loves playing with other children.  He loves going to the cinema with popcorn and he will sit and watch a film- stuff like Harry Potter“, she says.

Katie on baby daughter Princess Tiaamii and Junior:  “He loves with little sisted Princess and isn’t at all jealous.  In fact, he shows her lots of love”, says Katie.
